Are you musically adventurous and hoping to explore the pronounced melodies and rich rhythms of North Indian music?

Our North Indian music academy equips students of all ages with expert knowledge offered by our highly experienced tutors, excellent learning materials that supplement their learning outside of academy hours, and confidence to utilise the skills and knowledge drawn from our academy classes to explore the rich sounds that North Indian Music has to offer.

Students and parents alike can be assured that their journey with North Indian music will be carefully navigated under the guidance of some of the best artist's Indian Classical musical has to offer.

What is special about the North Indian Music Academy?


• Classes available for all ages 4 and upwards
• Our classes provide a unique insight into South Asian culture, aural traditions and wider cultural heritage
• Learn the fine art of music with world-renowned Gurus
• Musicians who have never learnt Hindustani music can easily adapt their skills to learn new styles (e.g. a Western drummer can pick up the Tabla quickly)
• Opportunity to take Arts Awards –Trinity College London (UCAS point after achieving GOLD Arts Award). This qualification helps develop skills in research, expertise in a specific artform, and work-life skill in project management
• Opportunity to share stage with professional acts as part of the SAA-uk Concert Series 
• Be part of local initiatives like Light Night, and Chapel FM's Music-a-thon 
• Take part in large creative projects with the support of the SAA-uk Team
• Meet new people and make friends and become part of SAA-uk family tree!

FEE: £120 per 10-week term + £25 instrument hire
