Hindustani Vocal classes are led by Mrs. Poulomi Chakraborty and are open to both children and adults.

For beginners, students are introduced to the basics of Swaras (notes), voice practice, rhythm and simple Raags. As they progress, they begin working on Raag Aalap, Bandish and a wider range of Hindustani songs, developing their understanding of melody, taal and how to present a piece.

Students who progress to an intermediate and advanced level can further develop their training through 1-to-1 lessons, where they can work in more depth on Raag, Bandish, Aalap and their individual singing practice.
 

Program Details

• Fees: £90 per term (10 weeks) / £270 annual fee (30 weeks), inclusive of a 10% discount*
• Teaching Style: Small group classes
• Duration: 45 minutes per lesson
• Age: 4 years and above
• Classes: 10 classes per term / 30 classes across 3 terms
