Priti Kaur

Priti Kaur is a versatile, vibrant Indian vocalist resident in the U.K. 

Winner of the Sa Re Ga Ma Punjabi singing competition, her repertoire ranges from Bollywood to Ghazals, Semiclassical, Sufi, Bhajans, Gurbani Sangeet, World music, Bhangra music, folk music etc.

Priti has graduated from the prestigious Khairagarh University achieving a degree with distinction in Hindustani classical vocal music alongside her Masters Degree in Environmental Science. 

Her performances include " Best of Bollywood "concert with City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, performance for Indian athletes welcome at the Commonwealth games 2022, numerous concerts at prestigious venues like Symphony Hall, Cadogan Hall, Logan Hall, Watermans Theatre, Beck Theatre, Harrow arts centre, Bushey Academy, University of Birmingham and several other venues. She has been invited to perform for various concerts, community organisations, cultural events, private events, corporate events, and charities in London, Birmingham, Coventry, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Europe.

She has appeared and performed for several TV channels which includes NDTV, Zee TV, B4U Music, Sangat TV, Kanshi TV, etc and a musical interview for BBC Northampton.In India, she was an All India Radio approved Ghazal Artist.

Her journey in singing started at the Mumbai Doordarshan as a child artist, recording several jingles and religious songs, winning numerous Zonal, State and National level singing competitions during her academic years. 

With the ability to sing a variety of genres with ease including Bollywood, Soulful, Pop music, Sufi, Bhajans, Gurbani Sangeet ,Bhangra, Punjabi Folk, Ghazals, Semi Classical amongst others, Priti also has the skill to effortlessly adapt to the style and feel of songs from any genre. Priti loves to sing in a variety of Indian languages including Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujrati and Marathi.

Winner of several awards, including the "Jagjit Singh Kala Manch" award, Priti is also a winner of the Lata Mangeshkar competition. During her short stay in Mumbai, Priti recorded her first playback in the Punjabi film "Waris Shah: Ishq Daa Waaris" under the music direction of Shri Jaidev Kumar. Priti is currently teaching both classical and light music. She recently recorded a semi-classical song for renowned Music composer, Kuljit Bhamra for his album called " Essence of Raga- Tala".
