Dimitris Menexopoulos

Dimitris Menexopoulos is a versatile composer, multi-instrumentalist, and sound designer from Thessaloniki, Greece.

Having pursued an academic path in geoscience, electronic production, and design, Dimitris holds a unique vantage point as a musician as he draws elements from the fields of both science and art to bring his productions to life.

His musical endeavours have flourished into numerous projects, included his release of two solo albums entitled ‘Phenomena' in 2014 and ‘Perpetuum Mobile' in 2017. Dimitris' musical career has seen him embark upon numerous collaborative projects, including working alongside electronic musician Robert Rich in his 2016 album Vestiges, acclaimed Indian film director Shekhar Kapur in the animated short, Brides of the Well (2018), and film composer George Kallis in Cliffs of Freedom (2019).

His achievements as a designer have seen an equally impressive level of success. He has presented his work at the Barbican Centre for the 2019 Nesta FutureFest event, the Somerset House in 2020, and Apple Regent Street.
