SPOTLIGHT 2022

South Asian Arts-uk (SAA-uk) is a centre of excellence in Indian classical music and dance. Since June 1997, they have been a pioneering Charity organisation, focused on celebrating South Asian arts, as well as pushing the boundaries of how traditional and contemporary expressions are taught, performed, and experienced by audiences.

In our second year as PRS Foundation's Talent Development Partners, we are excited to be working on a new phase of learning and development for South Asian art and artists in the UK!

This year, we are scaling back and focusing on aiding 2 artists of South Asian-rooted or inspired music, and are bringing back our Global Stories commission for another callout to see what diverse artists and art forms we can support.The music creators involved will personally benefit from the expertise we have as a team, our contacts, our 25 years of experience, and the opportunity to connect with a receptive audience that will provide
feedback on their work in progress
