Indian Dance Academy: Bharatanatyam & Odissi

Join us at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds for Bharatanatyam and Odissi Dance Classes every Friday during term time! 

Bharatanatyam:
Time: 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm- Beginner's dance class | 6:15 to 6:45 pm- Combined vocal class (Mandatory) 6:45 to 7:45- Intermediate dance class  
Dates: 19th September 2025 to 3rd July 2026 ( 3 terms in a year) 
Tutor:
Mrs. Roopa Ponnarassery Rakesh
Duration: 1 hour for each dance class and 30 minutes for the combined vocal class 
Age: 4 years and above  
Venue: Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), 98 Chapeltown Rd, Leeds LS7 4BH   
Fees: £150 per term (10 weeks)/ £405 annual fee (30 weeks) inclusive of 10% discount | Sibling Discount: 10% off the total fee for both siblings when they join together | Special Student rate (Uni/College) £75 per term | A 50% discount is available for parents learning the same discipline as their child 
*ISTD exams are optional and require an additional fee beyond the standard fee

Odissi:
Time: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm- Mixed age group
Dates: 19th September 2025 to 3rd July 2026 ( 3 terms in a year) 
Tutor: Mrs. Sayani Roy
Duration: 1-hour class  
Age: 4 years old and above   
Venue: Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), 98 Chapeltown Rd, Leeds LS7 4BH  
Fees:£120 per term (10 weeks) / £324 annual fee (30 weeks) inclusive of 10% discount | Sibling Discount:10% off the total fee for both siblings when they join together | Special Student rate (Uni/College) £60 per term | A 50% discount is available for parents learning the same discipline as their child

After each class, students gain access to engaging practice videos, helpful study materials shared through our Bharatanatyam WhatsApp group and Google Classroom, along with personalised feedback and regular assessments to support their growth!
