Jas Ahluwalia
Jas Ahluwalia studied the illustrious Tabla under the world-renowned Ustad Tari Khan.
The Tabla is a pair of hand-played drums known for its versatility in both melody and rhythm, capable of producing a wide range of tones that bring a unique depth to any composition. Jas' deep understanding of rhythm and thoughtful accompaniment elevates every performance, bringing emotional depth and intelligence to each piece.
Jas and his wife Kamaljeet Ahluwalia founded the production company Absolute Focus, where they work on a diverse array of projects. Their portfolio includes work with major television and film clients such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon, Disney, and Facebook. They have composed music for live theater, cultural projects, and strive to introduce Indian classical music to new audiences around the world.
