PLATFORM is a project that will proactively connect, listen, and empower diverse South Asian communities who have made Leeds their home since the early 20th Century, to present and share their hidden and often unheard stories.
Throughout the 2-year project we are determined to uncover stories, discover hidden talent and begin the process of creating an up-to-date, historical archive of South Asian communities in Leeds.
Through this process we will look at how stories are animated and celebrated so that we can platform and give voice to this diverse South Asian communities.
