Dilraj Singh

Hi, my name is Dilraj Singh, and I have been deeply devoted to the art of tabla since the age of five. My journey began under the inspiring guidance of the esteemed Ustad Bhupinder Chagger, whose teachings laid the foundation for my passion and dedication to this intricate and soulful instrument. Over the years, I have further honed my skills and deepened my understanding of tabla through rigorous training with the internationally renowned tabla virtuoso Shahbaz Hussain.

Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of performing at many gurdwaras and various venues across the UK, where I have shared the rich rhythms and timeless beauty of the tabla with diverse audiences. These experiences have not only enriched my musical journey but also deepened my appreciation for how music can connect people and cultures.

My aim is to continue expanding my knowledge and refining my skills in the art of tabla while also working to create and share more opportunities for this beautiful art form in Manchester. I hope to inspire others to explore its depth, complexity, and spiritual resonance while contributing to the growth of a vibrant tabla community.
