Roopa Ponnarassery Rakesh

For over 20 years, Roopa Ponnarassery Rakesh has been dedicated to the craft of Indian Classical dance, specifically, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, and Ottamthullal.

Trained under renowned mentors such as Smt. Kalamandalam Smitha Jayam and RLV Manaloor Gopinath, Roopa holds a deep mastery of technique, tradition, and artistic expression.

Complimenting her journey in dance is a strong foundation in Indian folk dance and yoga, allowing her to integrate elements of physical fitness, mental clarity, and cultural richness into every performance.

Roopa is currently based in the UK, pursuing a Master's in Data Analytics. Blending her artistic talents with analytical skills, Roopa is passionate about opening doors to innovative projects and opportunities that bridge cultural arts and technology.
