Paras Nath

Paras Nath was born into a family of renowned Indian classical musicians, and his lineage goes back 250 years. Paras is disciple of his grandfather, the late Pandit Shiv Nath, and his father Pandit Amar Nath, the legendary flautist and Indian composer.

Paras is a well known artist in the film industry, working on soundtracks for Bollywood movies like Oh My God, Tare Zameen Par, and Talwar. He also performed for TV shows like Indian Idol, Coke studio, and MTV Unplugged.

During his many international collaborations, Paras has performed on stages worldwide, including the Ottawa Canada Festival, and the Berlin Festival. He also composed music for and led 1,200 sitarists in a stage performance in New Delhi which has been recorded in The Guinness World Record.
