Jyoti Manral

Jyoti is a kathak dancer, choreographer and teacher. She underwent 13 years of formal dance training from Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, India under the tutelage of Guru Mrs. Geetanjali Lal. A recipient of merit scholarship of Kathak Kendra, Delhi for 6 years and from Cultural ministry, Govt. of India for 2 years, she is also an empanelled artist from Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR) and a graded artist of Delhi Doordarshan (Television broadcast).

She performed in major dance festivals in UK, India, Sweden, Latvia, Russia, Singapore, West Africa, Nepal, Bhutan, and China. At present she is working as a Kathak dance teacher for SAA-uk, as well as starring in many of SAA-uk's productions such as Wood, THREAD,One Dha at a Time. As well as this, Jyoti has been responsible for choreographing student presentations such as SAA-uk's kathak curtain-raiser for Pagrav Dance Company's Kattam Katti (2022).
