Jack Jennings

Jack Jennings is a guitarist and teacher who specialises in Indian Classical Music adapted to the guitar. Jack has been playing the guitar for over 21 years, since beginning at the age of 10.

For the last 12 years Jack broadened his outlook and began to learn the sitar, which led him to discover a whole new range of inspiring music. He wanted to create an electric guitar, designed to play Indian classical music and mirror the techniques of a sitar. In January 2019 he successfully raised the funds over CrowdFunder and assembled his perfect instrument. He has since merged the two cultures that inspire him together and has created an original style, all from his curiosity to try something new.

While collaborating with various Indian classical musicians they encouraged Jack to focus on the guitar as a means of playing this music. Currently he is part of a trio called Attuned with Manish Pingle, a renowned Indian slide guitar musician, and Gurdain Rayatt, a talented highly skilled tabla player from London. Other projects he is a part of includes developing online courses and a new album, combining his love of Indian Music with his own voice as a guitarist.
