Sherin Sara Alex

As a lifelong news enthusiast working in the field of media and marketing, I have been fortunate to combine my vocation with my passion! A 16-year career with prominent organisations like BBC, CNBC and NDTV has given me remarkable insights into the ever-changing global news scene and its impact on all facets of everyday life.

Having been involved in several collaborations between Indian and international news organisations has enabled me to keep evolving and staying abreast of latest technological developments. I am the proud recipient of BBC's Unsung Hero Award for seamless and tireless work through the pandemic.

Being the daughter of an Army officer has made me quite adaptable, resourceful, welcoming of new experiences and confident at meeting challenges bravely.

In my spare time I enjoy reading fiction/non-fiction and listening to western and Indian music. I am also very fond of linguistics and playing word games like Scrabble.

As a person who has lived and travelled vastly within India and south Asia, I strive for positive results through my passion towards South Asian art forms including dance & music.
