Orisa Pather
Orisa Pather is a recent graduate from Lancaster University, having completed her Master in Fine Art with Distinction.
During her master's, Orisa worked with various arts organisations and communities, conducting interviews with other creatives. She believes it is important that art is accessible to everyone and wants to help artists at all stages of their careers. Community is something Orisa values deeply within the arts sector, and she aims to help grow its presence in the North.
She has previous experience organising exhibitions as part of small teams and wishes to apply these skills in the HeadStart training program.
Orisa views the HeadStart training program as a crucial step toward achieving her goal of developing other artists' creative practices and creating opportunities within arts and culture.
In her free time, Orisa enjoys drawing, playing games, and watching films. She likes to stay busy and often takes on side projects whenever she can.
