Kai Omar Brooks

After moving to Leeds in 2020 and completing a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art at Leeds Arts University, Kai soon began pursuing a career in digital media—combining a passion for digital content with strong creative ideas and technical design skills.

This led to earning a place on Channel 4's Content Creative Programme, where Kai received bespoke training in digital content production and completed a placement with 4Studio.

Following this, Kai honed creative facilitation skills through various freelance roles before returning to the arts and culture sector to bring digital expertise to a field that feels like home.

Now working as a Digital Marketing Assistant at SAA-uk, Kai is excited to share the organisation's events, courses, and mission with wider audiences.

Alongside this role, Kai also serves as Marketing Coordinator at Assembly House in Armley, an artist-led studio and exhibition space supporting early-career artists. Having held a studio there for two years, Kai continues to develop a personal painting practice.

Outside of work and the studio, Kai enjoys staying active and exploring new skills—often found rock climbing, playing guitar, or attending gigs.
