Amrita Rathore
Amrita's musical journey began at the age of 7, when she first picked up the dilruba, a traditional stringed instrument deeply rooted in classical music.
Over the years, she has honed her skills, initially studying under the guidance of Ustaad Kirpal Ji, and has performed at numerous gurdwaras, sharing her love for the instrument with her community.
One of her most notable performances took place at St. James Palace, where she had the honor of playing for Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Kent. Amrita also brings her music to family events, where her soulful renditions of raags inspire and connect with all who listen.
Driven by her passion for mastering raags and her dedication to growing as an artist, Amrita is committed to a lifelong journey of musical exploration and self-expression. Through this fundraiser, Amrita hopes to continue developing her craft and sharing her music with a wider audience, inspiring others to embrace the rich traditions of classical music and the beauty of the dilruba.
