Day: Thursdays
Time: Beginners- 5:30-6:30 PM
          Intermediate- 6:30-7:30 PM
          Advanced- 7:30-8:30 PM (Ladies only) currently aged 30+ and above
Dates: 26th September 2024 to 10th July 2025 ( 3 terms in a year)
Duration: 1 hour for each class  
Fees: £120 per term (10 weeks) / £324 annual fee (30 weeks) inclusive of 10% discount *
         *Special Student rate (Uni/College) £60 per term*

Learn Indian classical dance Kathak, a dance style of North India in its most authentic traditional style. Our Kathak Classes are delivered by experienced teacher, performer, and choreographer Jyoti Manral.  

The lessons are specifically tailored to help every student master their technique, movement (mudras), rhythm (Taal), footwork, and spins (Chakkars). The lessons also extensively cover expressions utilizing the hands, face, and eye movements, which are integral to the art of Kathak. 
 
A dance form primarily used to narrate mythological stories, folklore, and timeless tales aims to offer high-quality learning experiences and enhance students' physical and mental well-being. These lessons are a way to expand creativity by providing learners with the best knowledge of this beautiful art form.  
 
At the end of every class, we provide videos and study materials for self-practice via the *Kathak WhatsApp group* and Google Classroom.  
 
All students will have the chance to perform at community events like - Diwali, Holi, Navratri, and regional cultural events.
