A residency workshop on Raag and Taal, led by

Ustad Dharambir Singh Dhadyalla MBE - Sitar

The Raag & Taal workshop aims at taking participants on a deeper understanding of their artform through a 360-degree teaching and learning approach towards Raag (traditional melodic frameworks), Taal (time cycles), and Laya (tempo).

This is an opportunity to learn, understand, and appreciates the foundation themes of South Asian classical music in person, with leading exponents of the Hindustani classical tradition.

If you have been learning independently Hindustani music (Tabla, Sitar, Santoor, Dilruba and Sarangi) or Hindustani vocal and have built a strong foundation of technical abilities, you can apply to join the masterclass for just £25.
