TICKETS: £10 / £5 concession

Join us for a unique open rehearsal where we explore the pitfalls of  technology, and celebrate what it means to be human.

Indian classical kathak artist Jyoti Manral was astonished to hear her daughter's first words, instead of 'Mama' or 'Papa', to be 'Alexa stop!'. This in turn triggered a journey of introspection, re-evaluation and examination of the ways that technology creeps into our lives and relationships without us being aware.

Jyoti will be presenting a short piece of traditional Kathak dance, followed by a special performance by the students of Leeds City College. This will then be concluded by the experimental new work-in-progress, Alexa, Stop
