The intricate art of Carnatic vocals has entranced eager listeners for thousands of years. If you have found yourself amongst the many others who find an interest and are inspired by Carnatic music, our 2022 academies welcome students of all ages and abilities to learn this craft.

Under the expertise of skilled musician Ramya Tangirala, students will be given the wonderful opportunity to delve into the techniques, skills, and knowledge of Carnatic Vocals that are taught using an engaging and comprehensive teaching style which Ramya has successfully implemented in her many years as a teacher of Carnatic Vocals.

What is special about the South Indian Music Academy?

• Students ages 4 and up can find their voice through music

• All training is provided from professional musicians who are experts in their fields
• OFAAL Exams – to be offered to all students wanting to grade (age 6+) 
• Opportunity to share stage with professional acts as part of the SAA-uk Concert Series
