SAA-uk hosts an annual Winter Solstice concert, celebrating the minds and works of South Asian artists. This year's concert is around maestro Baluji Shrivastav
OBE, and his journey with visual impairment, called Winter Solstice: From Within.
This concert is not about a life without sight, but an immersive voyage across the mind that can create images through the senses, unveiled by the sounds of South Asian instruments: the resonating strings of sitar, intricate beats and much more. South Asian Arts-uk is a PRS Foundation Talent Development Partner supported by PPL. Project - SAA-uk Spotlight 2023 - Winter Solstice: From Within.
