See spring bloom right in front of your eyes in an evening of bansuri flute playing.
Spring leaves behind winter. Spring is no-more numb fingers, or snow crunching under your feet, or sun shrouded in grey clouds. The call of spring is the smile on your face after eating your favourite sweet or opening the window for the first time in months to let in the breeze on a warm day.
The call of spring is the melody of a bansuri flute being carried across the winds, the upbeat sounds of the tabla and the gentle forthcoming of new flower buds opening. Engage in the welcoming of spring and join us for a magical evening with warm soothing music performed by Nitin Amin on the bansuri flute, and tabla player Shahbaz Hussain.
A masterclass with Nitin Amin is going to take place at the National Center for Early Music in York on the 8th of June as part of ‘World of Wonder’.
